United Aircraft Technologies (UAT) is an aerospace company dedicated to improving aircraft wiring management with innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and safety. As the UX/UI Lead & Graphic Designer, I led UX/UI design efforts, creating wireframes and prototypes in Adobe XD while collaborating with developers to optimize website usability. I also designed multiple holiday-themed social media illustrations, increasing engagement and strengthening UAT’s digital presence across various platforms.
SOCIAL MEDIA POST
Thanksgiving Post 2023
United Aircraft Technologies' Thanksgiving Carousel Post, designed in alternative sizes for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Stories, captures the spirit of gratitude with a warm autumnal palette and a charming turkey. The festive yet professional design encourages engagement through a heartfelt greeting and an interactive question, fostering meaningful connections with the audience.

Holiday Post 2023
This holiday social media post for United Aircraft Technologies (UAT) seamlessly integrates the brand’s identity across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok. The UAT teal is used in the ornaments, text, and reindeer scarves, while the yellow accent, inspired by UAT’s clamp design, adds a unique branded touch as a scarf ornament. The minimalist reindeer illustrations, combined with a soft snowy background, create a sleek yet festive look. Designed in both vertical and horizontal formats, this post ensures a polished and engaging presence across all platforms.

New Year Post 2024
While creating these in Illustrator, I also had to prepare the illustrations for animation in Adobe After Effects. To ensure a smooth workflow for the motion design team, I organized the Illustrator file with properly labeled layers, converted elements into separate vector shapes, and made sure all assets were structured in a way that could be easily imported into After Effects. By importing the AI file as a composition with layer retention, the team could manipulate individual elements, apply motion effects, and create a dynamic animated version of the design. This collaboration allowed for a seamless transition from static to motion graphics while maintaining UAT’s brand identity across platforms.

HOLIDAY CARD 2023
features a festive and elegant design inspired by traditional greeting cards. I incorporated the UAT logo into the stamp, seamlessly blending branding with the holiday theme. The card's layout, with holly decorations, candy canes, and a vintage-inspired border, creates a warm and nostalgic feel. Designed for both print and digital use, this piece helps UAT share holiday cheer while maintaining brand identity.

REBRANDING GUIDELINES
UAT provided me with a foundation for this branding guidelines project, including pre-selected fonts (Oswald & Montserrat), color palette (UAT teal, yellow, black, and white), logos, and icons. They also had a vision for their imagery, focusing on wiring-related photos to align with their industry.
My role was to transform all these elements into a structured design system rather than a lengthy PowerPoint. I organized the guidelines into a visual and functional layout, making them more accessible and easier to implement across UAT’s marketing and design materials. This ensured consistency while allowing for flexibility in future branding efforts.

UAT WEBSITE
During my time at UAT, I undertook the project of designing a new website for the company, creating both high and low-fidelity prototypes. Initially, I worked closely with my manager and CEO to outline the project's vision and objectives. However, mid-way through developing the low-fidelity prototype, both my manager and CEO left the company for unrelated reasons, leaving me as the sole designer on the project.
This unexpected challenge turned into an opportunity for me to exercise full artistic control over the website's design. Utilizing Adobe After Effects, I worked diligently to craft an engaging and intuitive user experience that aligned with our initial goals. Despite the sudden shift in responsibilities, I embraced the creative freedom and ensured the project stayed on track.
As the project progressed, a new manager joined the team, providing valuable feedback and support. With their assistance, I completed the high-fidelity prototype, delivering a polished and visually appealing website that met UAT's standards and expectations. This experience not only honed my design skills but also demonstrated my ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic situations.
